ProcessEx is a secure Cloud-based software platform containing ready to use processes. If a process you are looking for is not currently in ProcessEx, new processes can be rapidly assembled.
Any process can be automated in ProcessEx – from the simple vacation request/approval to complex processes that require integration across external applications and data sources. A few examples of the types of processes that can be automated include:
With ProcessEx you can choose Basic Routing (Level 1), Basic Automation (Level 2) or Full Automation (Level 3).
Basic Routing (Level 1) is when your existing reports, forms, spreadsheets and documents (your assets) are wrapped in a production application that will control and monitor your process.
Basic Automation (Level 2) is Basic Routing with the addition of integration and automation to electronically produce your current assets.
Full Automation (Level 3) eliminates your existing assets and the solution encapsulates all the functionality of your original assets.
If your process already exists in The Process Store you can most likely begin using it in a few days, If the process you need is not currently in The Process Store, your processes can be configured for you from your existing process information. Meet with one of our Process Specialists for just an hour or two and you usually can see the first iteration of that process in a few days, and be using it in a week or two.
A process is either kicked off automatically or from a user via a menu item. At the start of a process, a task will show up in an Inbox for the user to process.
Yes. ProcessEx has reports that can be tailored so you can monitor and manage your processes, monitoring productivity, delegating and reprioritizing workloads as necessary. Additionally, ProcessEx has a full featured executive dashboard that provides a real time view into the status of a process. You can define charts and reports in graphical or tabular format.
Yes. ProcessEx is designed to use – not replace your existing assets whether they are custom spreadsheets, software solutions, databases, word documents, forms, and more.
Yes. ProcessEx is designed to use – not replace your existing assets including your business specific forms such as expense reports, custom spreadsheets and more. Leveraging existing assets and artifacts increases overall efficiency, reduces costs and complexity and employee training time.
Yes. Pricing is based on the number of users, number of transactions and storage space. The number of processes and the complexity of those processes do not affect the pricing. See Pricing or contact sales for more information and for special offerings.
Yes. The only requirement is an internet connection. ProcessEx can be used with your customers, partners, vendors and suppliers to allow more efficient collaboration and communication, boosting both efficiency and productivity.
Yes. ProcessEx uses – not replaces your existing assets, software solutions, documents, spreadsheets and reports. You do not have to make your process fit into an “out of the box process.”
Yes. Your own logo and branding can easily be incorporated. In addition the routing, escalation, reporting and other items can easily be tailored to your needs.
Yes. You can export your data as HTML or XML
Because ProcessEx is a cloud-based application, you do not have to worry about loading, downloading, installing, security, storage, redundant back-ups, hardware failures, software updates or maintenance costs.
In short, “cloud-based” means ProcessEx is off-premise, and there is a team of experts handling all of those technical, networking issues for you - all included in the price.
Yes. ProcessEx takes the responsibility of protecting your data seriously. We take all reasonable precautions to keep your data safe. ProcessEx uses the very same platform that has been used to deliver high-profile global solutions to some of the most secure institutions in the world. We have audited our own code and infrastructure. Our infrastructure is setup by professionals with many years of experience in security. One of the largest and recognizable software security firms in the world certified the platform.
We never expose the ProcessEx application or database servers directly to the Internet. Everything goes through a firewall.
For your own protection, we recommend that you configure your browser to use strong cryptography by default whenever possible. We also recommend that you always install the latest operating system and browser security patches.
Never write down or share your password, security image or security image caption. Ensure that your password is not the same one that you use on any other online websites and is not related to your username or otherwise easily guessable.

Yes. Data is backed up nightly and written to multiple disks instantly in multiple secure locations. In the event of a system wide emergency, we can perform full backup. All hardware that we use is fully redundant. That means that even if one disk fails or a server fails, no data will be lost and the ProcessEx application will not go down.
Yes. Controls and privileges that are available depend on user role and type as well as user defined business roles. In ProcessEx you can apply role-based security to control access to processes, reports, data and the executive dashboard.
Yes. With ProcessEx you get an Automated Admin that automatically tracks all tasks. The Automated Admin will automatically send out notifications when a task has been assigned, reassigned and reminders when tasks are nearing due or are overdue.
The Automated Admin will also send out escalations when a deadline is in jeopardy of being missed and information on how many days are remaining to complete the task. The Automated Admin sends out emails, gives you a call on your cell or at home and even sets up meetings to follow up on tasks when necessary.
Yes. One of the great features of ProcessEx is that you gain visibility into where an item stands in the process. Use ProcessEx to eliminate the frustration of not knowing where something is in the process. Get real time information about your workflow through ProcessEx's executive dashboard. Know where the bottlenecks are and have the ability to reassign tasks to clear those bottlenecks.
Yes. For any process click on the show details to review the entire process. A user can understand the steps involved in completing the entire process, the duration of the process and the individuals who are involved in the process.
Yes. Each users inbox has every task displayed, when it is due, whether it is on time or behind, where it was and where it is going, Or, use the ProcessEx’s executive dashboard to see the processes you are accountable for and all of the processes you have access to view.
From the executive dashboard you can reprioritize important tasks, giving more time to selected tasks. Those who are involved in your process are automatically updated with the changes you made.
If the process is getting bogged down, you can go to the executive dashboard and reassign the workload to those team members who are available. Again, your team is automatically updated with the reassignments.
Yes. ProcessEx works with all popular web browsers like Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, Apple’s Safari, Google’s Chrome, Mozilla’s Firefox and more. You can also use ProcessEx on other smart phones such as Android and Blackberry.
Yes. The Automated Admin will send alerts and reminders to your email and can even call your cell phone with reminders, updates and escalations.
If you are not satisfied with ProcessEx for any reason you can cancel your subscription up to 90 days after installation for a full refund. After 90 days you can cancel your subscription for any reason for a prorated refund of the paid subscription cost.
